      A woman standing under the Hollywood SignThe Hollywood Sign is perched atop Mount Lee in the Hollywood Hills. It is not directly accessible by car, as the only road leading up to the sign is open to authorized personnel only.

      However, you can easily drive to Lake Hollywood Park, a dog park situated directly beneath the Sign. This is the best place to get a close and unobstructed photo with the Sign—no mountain hiking required!
