      A hand holding a fish taco with extra lettuceGrilled fish tacos and grilled shrimp tacos are a healthy, SoCal twist on the fried seafood tacos that Southern Californians indulge in whenever they visit Mexico’s Baja Peninsula.

      Traditionally, the dish is a flavorful feast of freshly grilled fish or shrimp placed on a bed of corn tortillas, then sprinkled with cabbage and pico de gallo, drizzled with a white sauce and spritzed with fresh lime.

      Ironically enough, an excellent place to enjoy a grilled seafood taco is in the desert—at Shanghai Reds Bar & Grill in Palm Springs.
