Stand under the awesome coolness of the world’s largest grove of desert fan palms, the only palm tree that is actually native to California. On weekends, you can join a 1 mile (1.6 km) ranger-led hike during which you will learn about the Cahuilla tribe and how their ancestors thrived here for hundreds of years.
The trailhead for this canyon is a short drive from the Indian Canyons main entrance.
