      The jagged peaks and valleys of the badlands in Anza-Borrego Desert State ParkExplore canyons, palm groves and badlands whilst spotting bighorn sheep, roadrunners, iguanas and more in this remote wilderness that is especially resplendent in March when its desert sands are blanketed with wildflowers in full bloom.

      Highlights include the 3-mile (4.8 km) Palm Canyon Trail and Font’s Point overlook.
