      Two young ladies standing in the waters flowing from the waterfall in Tahquitz CanyonDiscover how the Cahuilla tribe survived for hundreds of years in the desert of Palm Springs during a 2-mile ( 3.2 km) ranger-led hike on tribal land in Tahquitz Canyon, where you can cool off under a 60-foot seasonal waterfall that is at prime flow in winter or springtime after a recent rain shower.

      Admission $12.50

      Sun-Sat, 7:30am-5pm (Oct-June); Fri-Sun, 7:30am-5pm (July-Sept). Year-round, you must enter the park before 3:30pm.

      Ranger-led hikes depart from Visitor Center at 8am, 10am, noon (12pm) and 2pm when the park is open
