Fireworks in the sky above hundreds of concert-goers in front of a big and colorful stage during the Snow Globe Music FestivalRing in the New Year with snowflakes, fireworks and live music by hot artists like Flume, D.R.A.M, ODESZA, The Chainsmokers and Major Lazer during this 3-day music festival near the snow-kissed shores of Lake Tahoe.

3-day tickets $139-$399+, purchasable online. First round of early bird tickets available mid-January; next round in early September. 1-day tickets $99+, available mid-October. The festival sells out so subscribe to the SnowGlobe enewsletter to be alerted when tickets go on sale.

Parking $30-$75+ at 2940 Lake Tahoe Blvd; parking pass can be purchased online as you buy your festival pass

A free park n’ ride shuttle departs from the Stateline Transit Center (4114 Lake Tahoe Blvd) and the South Y Transit Center (100 Emerald Bay Rd) about every 30 minutes, 1:30pm-12:30am (runs till 2am the morning of New Year’s Day)

I suggest booking lodging in Heavenly Village so you will be within walking distance of the Stateline Transit Center shuttle stop to the festival (see above). You will also be in walking distance to the Gondola at Heavenly, which will take you up to the Heavenly Ski Resort.

You can catch a charter bus to Lake Tahoe direct from LA, San Francisco, Vegas and other locations for $59-$69+ roundtrip
