Overlooking the wildflowers, rocks, sand and sea along Windansea BeachWindansea is breathtakingly gorgeous. One look upon its emerald and turquoise waves, and you will be overcome with desire—the desire to dive in and frolic with wanton abandon, from dawn till dusk.

Windansea is a popular surfing and boogie boarding hangout. The beach itself is not considerably wide, but it is longer than it at first appears. So if the main stretch of sand is packed, just walk towards a maze of boulders where you may luck out on a small yet semi-private spot to relax and repose.

Lifeguards on duty 9am-sunset (June-Aug); and on warm days the rest of the year

Smoking, glass containers, littering, alcoholic beverages, loud music, disturbing noises, overnight camping and dogs are not permitted

Limited street parking is available on Neptune Place and neighboring streets; on summer weekends (June-Sept) and holidays, arrive early to snag a spot.
